Brewsters Beer Garden
If you’re looking to grab a craft beer at a laid-back outdoor venue while listening to live music, Brewsters Beer Garden is the best spot in town.
Featuring a large back patio shaded by trees and umbrellas, Brewsters offers plenty of room to eat, drink beer, and socialize. On the weekends, Brewsters hosts local artists and meetup groups. Brewsters is also well known for being dog friendly!
Pub Republic
Located in East Petaluma, Pub Republic is another great spot for craft beer. Pub Republic offers a great selection of craft beers from breweries along the West Coast. They also have a substantial bottled beer list as well as a selection of rotating local taps. If you can’t decide what to order, that’s okay- Pub Republic serves sample flights for only $8.
While Pub Republic is a great spot if you’re looking to only grab drinks, I can’t recommend them as a restaurant. Their menu is overpriced at best and they once served me undercooked fish, giving me food poisoning.
HenHouse Brewing Co
HenHouse Brewing Company is the epitome of “quirky local brewery.” It’s obvious upon entering that HenHouse truly loves beer and is excited to share that passion with the community.
In addition to serving several staple and rotating taps, HenHouse also sells cute branded t-shirts and chips just in case you get hungry while drinking!
The Block
The Block Petaluma is an outdoor food park located in Petaluma’s Industrial district. Well known for being a casual music venue, The Block is also home to Two Rock Brewing Company. In addition to featuring a few craft beers brewed onsite, The Block also serves several other beers from local California breweries.
What makes the Block so unique is that it hosts assorted local food trucks. Each day, different trucks park and serve up yummy cuisine to enjoy in the beautiful outdoors. Life couldn’t get any more relaxing!
Taps
A cross between a beer garden and an Irish pub, Taps offers both indoor dining and an outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the Petaluma Waterfront.
Out of all the venues on this list, Taps has the most delicious and impressive menu. From burgers to poutine, every dish is delicious- you can’t go wrong!
Lagunitas Taproom
The final venue on our list, Lagunitas Taproom offers expansive space, sunshine, and live music that just can’t be beat.
Lagunitas Petaluma calls itself a “beer sanctuary”, which is an accurate description. When you’re eating a delicious appetizer at the taproom, listening to live music, and drinking a brew unique to the Petaluma location, it’s like being in your own little world. Lagunitas is truly the place for craft beer aficionados to gather and enjoy a peaceful afternoon or evening.
