Wow, I can’t believe August is over! This summer flew by too fast. While I’m ready for fall, I’m grateful that we’ll have a few more weeks of sun and warmth here in the Bay Area.
August started off with a fun visit from a couple of close friends. Stephen and I showed them around Petaluma, San Francisco, and wine country. We had a great time exploring wineries and sharing some of our favorite restaurants.
Unfortunately, August quickly took a less exciting turn. After (miraculously) making it through almost all of the pandemic without so much as a case of the sniffles, I came down with both the stomach flu and a nasty sinus/ear infection with only a couple weeks in between!
Thankfully I’m all better now, but I spent the better part of August in bed. The bright side of being sick? I read some amazing books! However, I didn’t create a lot of content.
While August may have been uninspired, September will more than make up for it. Cheers to a healthy and more adventurous September!
