The owners of Press love coffee, and it shows. Since opening their first location in 2008, Press has expanded to 9 (soon to be 10) different locations across the Phoenix metro area. While Press makes a fantastic cup of coffee, that isn’t the only reason to pay them a visit. Sleek, modern décor makes Press the perfect place to get work done.

1. Cartel Coffee Lab
While each of the featured coffee shops are standouts in at least one area, Cartel Coffee Lab has a little something for everybody.
With 5 valley locations, Cartel is a Phoenix institution. Cartel brews some of the best blonde roast coffee in the valley. Cartel’s baristas are passionate about coffee and well-educated- all you have to do is tell them what type of coffee you like, and you’ll end up with a perfect recommendation!
If you work remotely, all of Cartel’s locations provide ample space to set up your laptop. I have many great memories of working at Cartel both as a college student and as a young software developer. I’ve even taken a few business meetings at Cartel as well as a couple of job interviews!
