Ugg Tasman Slipper Review

After going viral in 2022, Ugg Tasman Slippers began flying off the shelves at several many retailers. Are these comfy slipper/boot hybrids worth the hype? Let’s find out!

Material

Similar to most Ugg Boots, the outer portion of Ugg Tasman Slippers are made of suede. The braid surrounding the slipper’s ankle is made of a 70% polyester/30% rayon blend. Sheepskin and wool line the interior of the slipper, providing extra warmth and comfort!

Sizing

Unlike Ugg Classic Ultra Minis, Ugg Tasmans run pretty small. I’d recommend sizing up one size. If you’re in between sizes, size up half a size.

For example, I’m typically a size 9.5 in sneakers and a size 9 in other styles of Ugg boots. I ordered a size 10 in Ugg Tasman Slippers and they fit perfectly!

Colors

Ugg Tasman Slippers are sold in the standard Ugg colors of Black and Chestnut. Additionally, the slippers are released in seasonal colors such as the Carnation Pink pair above. While most department stores and retailers that carry the slippers will stock standard colors, availability of seasonal colors can vary.

Price

Ugg Tasman Slippers retail for $100. This price point places Ugg Tasmans in the same range as most other Ugg slippers and at least $40 less than full-price Ugg boots.

Overall Impressions

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about Ugg Tasman Slippers.

Like every other pair of Uggs I’ve tried on, Ugg Tasmans are incredibly comfortable. They’re like walking on a cloud; I never want to take them off!

However, because they are slippers and don’t have ankle support, it’s pretty easy for Ugg Tasmans to slide off your foot while walking. While I often see influencers and fellow Californians wear Ugg Tasmans out and about, I don’t personally recommend wearing them out of the house.

One huge positive of the Ugg Tasman Slippers is their price. Priced at $40 cheaper than Ugg Classic Ultra Minis, Tasmans allow shoppers to wear Uggs at a lower price point.

While the Tasman Slippers might not be my favorite pair of Uggs to date, I still enjoy wearing them around the house and to game nights!
