After going viral on social media in 2022, the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag is truly everywhere. From TikTok to real life “hot girl walks”, you’ll find women wearing it as a crossbody bag or fanny pack.
The bag offers a convenient way to carry essentials to the gym, on a hike, or even while running errands. As cute and convenient as it is, is the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag worth the hype? Let’s review!
Features
The Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag has two zippered compartments: one large compartment that runs 3/4 of the perimeter of the bag, and a smaller compartment on the back of the bag to store IDs, credit cards, or other essentials.
Inside the main compartment there are two mesh pouches that help keep you organized.
Personally, I’ve found that it’s easy to fit my phone, medications, a pair of sunglasses, and other “emergency” feminine products like a hair tie or tampon inside my belt bags- with room to spare!
Strap
In early 2022, Lululemon discontinued the original design of the Everywhere Belt Bag and replaced it with an Extended Strap version.
In addition to making the bag more size inclusive, Lululemon made some additional stylistic updates. The plastic buckle of the original bag was replaced with a simple fabric loop. Lululemon also substituted a plastic zipper for the original metal one and added a small rubber “Lululemon” tag to the bottom left-hand corner of the bag.
Colors
Typically, Lululemon releases Everywhere Belt Bags in several of their seasonal colors. From time to time Lululemon will also release the bag in cute, colorful patterns. Of course, they also stock standard color options such as Black, White, and various shades of grey.
If you only wish to purchase a single Everywhere Belt Bag, I’d recommend choosing a neutral color like black, grey, or beige to maximize the number of outfits it will go with. If you prefer bright colors or plan on purchasing more than one like me, Lululemon releases new colors every couple of months!
Just a heads up- lighter colors of the Everywhere Belt Bag like white or yellow show dirt and are prone to stains. If you plan on taking your bag on a hike or visit to an outdoor gym, I’d recommend purchasing a dark color.
Price
The Everywhere Belt Bag retails for $38. Since the bag is very popular, it usually sells out before joining Lululemon’s discounted WMTM section.
If you try to search for rare or discontinued EBB colors on Poshmark or Mercari, expect to pay higher than retail prices.
Alternate Versions
In addition to the standard Everywhere Belt Bag, Lululemon offers a couple different versions: the Everywhere Fleece Belt Bag and the Everywhere Belt Bag Large. They come in fewer colors than the standard belt bag and retail for $58 and $48 respectively.
Overall Impressions
Personally, I love my Everywhere Belt Bags! As a longtime asthma/allergy sufferer, fanny packs have been a lifesaver for hiking trips, walking my dog, and even music festivals. I love being able to store my emergency medications without needing to carry a bulky handbag or backpack. In recent years, I’ve even started wearing my belt bags to the gym to keep my medication nearby at all times.
I also love the styling versatility that Everywhere Belt Bags provide. Right now, wearing a belt bag across your chest is very trendy. However, it’s very easy to adjust your Belt Bag so it fits around your waist, which comes in handy when wearing bulky clothes during fall and winter.
