Amazon Prime Day 2020 went live bright and early yesterday morning! I’m a little late to the sale due to work being crazy busy. However, there are still several amazing deals live for you to shop from! Here are my top picks:
JBL Portable Waterproof Speaker
If you don’t already have a portable waterproof speaker, I highly recommend getting one! My boyfriend and I purchased one a few years ago, and we bring it everywhere! We’ve used it on camping trips, we use it in our backyard, and we would even bring it to the hot tub back when we lived in an apartment complex. Plus, it’s super handy to have if you want to listen to music in the bath or shower!
Sonic Electric Toothbrush
If dental health is a priority of yours (hopefully it is!), then an electric toothbrush is a great investment!
Electric toothbrushes clean your teeth more thoroughly than a manual toothbrush. They also come with built-in timers to ensure you’re brushing your teeth for the proper length of time- which is pretty handy!

Well, I was just kidding about the spying on your neighbors part. In all honesty though, I’ve found that having a smart doorbell does wonders for preventing your packages from being stolen.
A few years ago, I lived in an apartment complex with a high volume of porch pirates. Even though I worked from home, my packages kept getting intercepted. I wanted a solution, so I ordered a motion-activated Ring Video Doorbell.
Good news was- my package thefts stopped! Since installing my Ring, I’ve only had one package stolen. Coincidentally, it was taken on an afternoon when I had removed my Ring and brought it indoors to charge.
The Ring app keeps a history of any activity saved, so if you do have any incidents, videos are easily accessible.

This is my Prime Day purchase that I am by far the most excited about!

Echo Dot
Too lazy to open up the Amazon app on your smart phone to do all of your Prime Day shopping? Never fear, the Echo Dot is here!
You’re probably already familiar with how Amazon Echos work, but just in case, here’s a quick overview:
Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa allows you to use your voice to check the weather, set alarms, or play music. You can connect your Echo Dot to other smart devices in your house and use Alexa to control those too!
In my house, we’ve connected our smart lights, smart plugs, smart thermostat, and Ring doorbell to our Alexa app. That way, we can control all of our smart devices through one place!
Instant Pot Pressure Cooker/Air Fryer
If you don’t have an Instant Pot already, it’s a must-purchase for your kitchen!
I cannot rant and rave enough about how useful and versatile Instant Pots are. You can make so many delicious one pot meals in them, as well as simple dishes like rice or hard-boiled eggs. It’s easy to see why this is the kitchen gadget I reach for the most often!
This particular Instant Pot is a 2-in-1, meaning that it also doubles as an air fryer. While I don’t have this exact model, it has outstanding reviews. If I needed a second Instant Pot, this would be the one I would personally choose!
Smart Outlet
Do you have a “dumb” electronic device that you want to control using Wi-Fi and a connected app? This is the gadget for you!
The Kasa Smart Outlet takes up less space than it’s plug-in counterparts, which makes it a great choice if you want to control devices that plug in behind bulky furniture. (It’s surprisingly easy to replace wall outlets, so don’t let that deter you!)
Plus, the Kasa Smart App allows you to set up timers for any connected devices. If you’re setting up holiday lights or anything you want to switch on/off at certain times, this is a great additional feature!
