It’s fall, ya’ll!
Well, technically it has been fall for almost two months. However, it’s Novmeber! Halloween is over, and my spooktacular decorations are in storage until next November. It’s time to fully embrace the holiday spirit and celebrate Thanksgiving with a little bit of fall decor!
Front Porch
For our first year in a home, my boyfriend Stephen and I decided to keep our fall decorations simple- and our porch reflects that!
To help us embrace the fall spirit, we put up two falltastic porch signs accentuated by pumpkins purchased at a local farm. We also hung up an adorable fall wreath made of artificial twigs, red leaves, and assorted gourds.
Living Room
For our indoor decorations, I embraced a homey plaid theme! On our couch I placed a fleece buffalo plaid blanket from Amazon. I also ordered a set of 4 matching 18″x18″ throw pillow covers for our couch.
On our coffee table, I placed a thin buffalo plaid table runner for contrast. On top of the table runner I made a custom candle holder consisting of a brushed gold painted tray, miniature pinecones, and some assorted fall craft goodies. While a pumpkin spice candle would have been a fun choice, I felt like a delicious vanilla candle looked a bit more elegant.
Dining Room
In our dining room, I created a cute fall-themed tableau overlaid on top of another buffalo plaid table runner.
The centerpiece was made up of some faux fall flowers from Michael’s in a glass vase decorated with a buffalo plaid ribbon. Surrounding the vase are a wireframe pumpkin full of fall-themed goodies such as pinecones, gourds, and fall leaves. I also placed a decorative firetruck and a shadowbox reading “grateful.”
In the front of the table, I arranged a few fabric pumpkins mixed with a few real miniature pumpkins from the grocery store!
See you all again in three weeks when I share my Christmas decor! Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I’m going to go all out- I can’t wait to share it with you all!
